Alyce Burton is a British photographer, based in London. There is an investigation of the magical in her work, where in practice she peers into the little wild corners of the world, documenting its discovery. Inspired by the mysterious workings of the world, her camera acts as conduit between the inner world of the imagination and the aesthetics of external reality. Influenced by the wild landscapes and folklore stories of her childhood in Northumberland, there is always a mythic thread woven into her work.
